Technicolor was how color was introduced to film. It gave movies more life than they had ever had.

In the early days of Hollywood, 35mm film would produce black and white negatives. Filmmakers would pour light through a lens, splinting the beam into two streams of light – green and red. Combining it with dye, the result would leave the film with the full spectrum of colors.

Not only that, they would be very bright and distinct and, to be honest? Beautiful.

And now, one of the most famous films to utilize to process is back for a premiere event. The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938) is the legendary story of the archer who stole from the rich to feed the poor.
